Dr. Alavi received his BA from Austin College in 1999. After which he spent one year at the University of Houston School of Public Health. He then started his medical education at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Worth, Texas. Post graduate education was done at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed his Anesthesiology residency and Pain Management fellowship.

CAREER

For two years Dr. Alavi worked as a Senior Instructor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. After moving back to Dallas in 2012 he started his practice in Pain Medicine

PERSONAL

Dr. Alavi was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Berner High School in Richardson, Texas in 1995. During his free time he enjoys participating in school activities and sports with his four children. His personal interests include tropical fish, sports, and cars.
